Applesauce

Wash, core and coarsely chop apples, leaving the skin on (the skin gave mine its color).
Place in a covered baking dish and bake at 350F until soft (I had mine beside something else I was baking at the same time). I think mine were in for an hour, but I really wasn’t watching them very closely–they might’ve been done sooner.
Pour hot apples & juice into the blender & puree. Sweeten to taste (I used commercial apple juice–the end result was still pretty tart).
