My mom just alerted me that ads are appearing on my posts
that make it sound as though I make money by blogging.
I assure you, I make not a cent, nor do I see or approve the ads.
The only way to get rid of the ads
would be for me to pay for the privilege of blogging.
I apologize for ads that are inappropriate.
They do not reflect my values (as you could probably guess). A Holy Calling
The Sacrament of Holy Matrimony isn't just a done-day event. It's a lifestyle of self-giving love in imitation of Jesus' relationship with His Bride, the Church. These are some of the ways that we as Catholic spouses are trying to put the graces of this sacrament into practise.-

Rubber Ball Marble-Go-Down Date
My creativity was on a low ebb this week. It’d been another rough weekend & I wasn’t sure what would go over well, so I kept things basic. We’d found super balls (party favors) at a dollar store that are … Continue reading
Smiley Ball Date
We had a socially exhausting weekend…my prince just wanted a quiet night at home to sit & talk, so we planned a typical “roll the ball across the floor & talk” evening. To spruce it up a little, I asked … Continue reading

Let’s Have a Ball!
It all started at a church rummage sale… My prince found a large, rubbery, pink ball: “What about this for our date nights?” By the time we’d gotten to Friday & still hadn’t gotten a date in, I “grabbed the … Continue reading
Kitty Date
My prince has been wanting to visit the humane society for a while now (we’ve been there several times & he always enjoys going back). It’s one of the few “no-kill” shelters, one he grew up with, and one we … Continue reading

Using Your Marbles Date
I’ve lost my marbles–literally. But in this case it seems to have been for the best ;). When we visited my mom last weekend I spotted the old marble-go-down–one of my favorite toys growing up. Hmm…date fodder! I asked Mom … Continue reading

Paper Airplane Nostalgia
This was a very nostalgic date. A little over a week after our wedding, my prince ended up in the hospital for several days. He’d been diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia the day before our wedding–we left the rehearsal dinner … Continue reading

“Wired For Sound” Date
As I mentioned last week, one of my “dreams” was to learn to get audio onto cds so I can leave audio love messages for my auditory prince. There are varying classifications for love languages/learning styles, but the more I’ve … Continue reading
